<\/div>[vc_column_text css=””]The opening day of the Silesian Opera<\/strong> (Opera \u015al\u0105ska w Bytomiu) is considered to be 14 June 1945 \u2013 the date of the premiere of \u2018Halka\u2019, the first post-war opera performance in Poland. The theatre was founded by the world-famous bass singer Adam Didur. His authority enabled him to compile a dedicated team in a very short time and create a first-class institution boasting strong and reliable names in the world of opera.<\/p>\n

Before long, the theatre in Bytom had become one of the most important players in Polish opera and also enjoyed a great reputation as a hotbed for new talent. 2016. \u0141ukasz Goik, who became the head of the opera house in 2016, successfully maintains the mission of promoting high culture. The premiere of the opera \u2018Romeo and Juliet\u2019 in 2017 marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration with Micha\u0142 Znaniecki. Several of his award-winning productions that have captivated both audiences and critics, will be performed at the Saaremaa Opera Festival.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″ content_width=”95″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n
